"Rocket Lessons" & the Journey of Abundance...
When it comes to accessing the abundance that is your birthright, there are several foundational principles or "lessons" you can learn from rockets, the Space Shuttle and space travel that will support you on your own Journey of Abundance.
To understand these principles, imagine a rocket or, more recently, the Space Shuttle sitting on its launching pad at NASA's Kennedy Space Center just before a scheduled launch. Do you see or remember the huge fuel tanks attached to it on all sides? Imagine the TONS of fuel those tanks hold – all necessary for the Space Shuttle's 7-10 day mission.
Now – consider this fact. Despite the fact that the Space Shuttle will remain in space for an entire week (or longer!) and despite the fact that it will circumnavigate the globe again and again and travel millions of miles, the Space Shuttle will use about 85% of all of its fuel in thefirst 7-10 minutes of its journey.
Just so you can appreciate how much fuel this is, consider the fact that e ach of the two solid rocket boosters on the Shuttle carries more than one million pounds of solid propellant. In addition, the Shuttle's large external tank (the rust-colored one) is loaded with more than 500,000 gallons of super-cold liquid oxygen and liquid hydrogen, which are mixed and burned together to form the fuel for the Shuttle's three main rocket engines.
Consider, for a moment, the seeming "absurdity" of this fact! The Space Shuttle travels for 7-10 minutes and uses 85% of all that fuel and then travels for another 7-10 days using less than 15%!
That's true for the Space Shuttle and all rockets launched into space – except that rockets intended to travel beyond earth's orbit (e.g., to the moon or Mars or beyond) require EVEN MORE fuel!
Why?
Even more importantly, what are the "lessons" or "principles" the Space Shuttle and all rockets offer you for your own Journey of Abundance?
Simply speaking, one reason the Space Shuttle needs so much fuel at the beginning of its journey is so that it can overcome INERTIA. It takes a LOT of fuel to simply get "that big and heavy piece of machinery" moving!
Now - apply this to you and your Journey. Just out of curiosity, how often have you experienced "inertia" and had a difficult time getting started – especially toward a new goal or a special dream? For that matter, how often do you experience "inertia" when it comes to the process of actually setting your goals in the first place?
That's why, whenever you encounter inertia on your Journey, it's important to learn from the Space Shuttle and ask yourself, "What does the Space Shuttle teach me about overcoming inertia and getting started?"
