Inspiration, Abundance & Your Birthright...
So - you're wondering why your life isn't more abundant if, indeed, abundance is your birthright?
 In truth, the challenge of the Journey of Abundance is to live life aroused by and filled with your spirit of abundance. This "spirit" is your authentic and most powerful self. This "spirit" is what inspires you to continually access and experience greater levels of abundance, freedom, peace and fulfillment – with greater ease – in all areas of your life.
Granted, you may not know what that's like or how to do it. You may have difficulty believing the words you're reading. You may not recognize or see the abundance that is around you and within you. You may be skeptical or doubtful. You may think it sounds "too easy" or too "airy fairy" or "new age". You may even think that it may be true for others – but it doesn't apply to you.
If you are thinking or feeling any of those thoughts – that's okay! In fact, it's not even surprising!
Lots of people might have said the same thing to horse trainer, Tom Smith, about a little horse named Sea Biscuit back in the 1930s – a horse recently re-popularized by the best-selling book and movie.
Much like you, Sea Biscuit was born with great racing potential – only it wasn't recognized by his first owner and trainer. As a result, Sea Biscuit was eventually used as a training horse for other "champion horses". In this role, Sea Biscuit was forced to let the "champion horse" catch up with and run even with him, at which point Sea Biscuit was "reined in" even more - thereby allowing the other horse to pass him and win! In this way, the other horse's confidence grew. In this same way, Sea Biscuit was actually conditioned to lose! And lose is exactly what he did – again and again!
Despite that, horse trainer Tom Smith saw something inside of Sea Biscuit that he recognized as powerful – despite his track record and despite his outward appearance and actions. As he described it, he recognized Sea Biscuit's amazing spirit. Based on that, Smith persuaded Charles Howard to purchase Sea Biscuit and Tom Smith became his trainer.
Tom Smith saw the potential within Sea Biscuit – he knew that as a trainer he simply needed to inspire the horse again. In the movie, Tom Smith describes his "training" of Sea Biscuit in one simple yet powerful sentence when he says, "It seems to me he has to 'unlearn' a lot of what he has learned thus far so he can remember how to be a horse again."
The same is probably true for you. More than you realize, the process of accessing greater levels of abundance in your life is usually one of "unlearning" the limiting beliefs and scarcity patterns you've learned thus far. By "unlearning" in this way, you can learn and remember how to be abundant again.
